Parish priests and staffs are encouraged to join us for a day of personal reflection and healing around the changes in parish structures by creating a space of listening, hospitality, and encounter with the Holy Spirit.  The day will be hosted by Josh Danis (Alpha in a Catholic Context) and the Center for the New Evangelization, in conjunction with the Beacons of Light team. 

The day will include hospitality and light refreshments, four brief talks, praise and worship, prayer, Adoration, lunch, and small group conversation.  The cost is $10 and includes lunch.

 Schedule: 

  • 8:25 a.m. Optional morning Mass
  • 9:30 a.m.  Check-in begins with hospitality 
  • 10:00 a.m. Session 1: A People Who Cry Unto Their God 
  • 11:00 a.m. Session 2: A God Who Comes to His People 
  • 11:45 a.m. Lunch 
  • 12:45 p.m. Session 3: A God Who Empowers His People 
  • 1:45 p.m. Adoration 
  • 2:15 p.m. Session 4: A God Who Inspires His People 
  • 3:00 p.m. Closing Prayer & Dismissal

Tickets are required for admittance. For sensory friendly or general admission field-seats, you must bring your own blankets (no seats will be permitted on the turf field).

Deaf Community seating on the field is provided. Wheelchair-accessible seating, ASL interpreters, and a sensory-friendly tent will be available.

Schedule for the evening:

6:00 p.m.: Mass at St. John the Baptist
7:00 p.m.: Procession from the church to the Relic Shrine with opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration
7:00 p.m.: Food trucks and lawn games
8:00 to 9:30 p.m.: Concert on the lawn of the Maria Stein Spiritual Retreat Center

No tickets are needed.
Bring your own chair/blanket.

ASL interpreters and a sensory-friendly tent will be available.
