DESCRIPTION:This is an interactive training to experience what it is like to run Alpha. \nAlpha is a space for people outside of the church to explore faith within the context of the local church. Gather with other churches and leaders from across the region for an interactive training to develop an understanding of Alpha and how to get the most out of running a course in your context. We will cover topics like ‘What is Alpha?’\, the 7 best practices of Alpha\, the Alpha small group\, and leading prayer ministry. \nRun Alpha Training hosted by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Center for the New Evangelization and led by Dan McCarty\, Network Director for Alpha Great Lakes. \nRegister HERE.

SUMMARY:2022 Lenten Retreat: A God Who Hears His People
DESCRIPTION:Parish priests and staffs are encouraged to join us for a day of personal reflection and healing around the changes in parish structures by creating a space of listening\, hospitality\, and encounter with the Holy Spirit.  The day will be hosted by Josh Danis (Alpha in a Catholic Context) and the Center for the New Evangelization\, in conjunction with the Beacons of Light team.  \nThe day will include hospitality and light refreshments\, four brief talks\, praise and worship\, prayer\, Adoration\, lunch\, and small group conversation.  The cost is $10 and includes lunch. \n Schedule:  \n\n9:00 a.m. Mass \n9:30 a.m. begins check-in with hospitality \n10:00 a.m. Session 1: A People Who Cry Unto Their God \n11:00 a.m. Session 2: A God Who Comes to His People \n11:45 a.m. Lunch \n12:45 p.m. Session 3: A God Who Empowers His People \n1:45 p.m. Adoration \n2:15 p.m. Session 4: A God Who Inspires His People \n3:00 p.m. Closing Prayer & Dismissal
