Let’s celebrate the completion of the first week of the pilgrimage!

Schedule for the evening:

6:00 p.m.: Mass at St. John the Baptist
7:00 p.m.: Procession from the church to the Relic Shrine with opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration
7:00 p.m.: Food trucks and lawn games
8:00 to 9:30 p.m.: Concert on the lawn of the Maria Stein Spiritual Retreat Center

No tickets are needed.
Bring your own chair/blanket.

ASL interpreters and a sensory-friendly tent will be available.

OPENING MASS AND PILGRIMAGE KICK OFF

Sunday, May 16th; 1:30 p.m.

Fatima Shrine, Russells Point, OH

To begin the Marian Pilgrimage, we will be celebrating an outdoor Mass at 1:30 p.m. at the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, which has one of the tallest statues of Mary in the Unites States. From there, pilgrims will begin procession to St. Mary of the Woods, which is 2 miles from the shrine. At 3:00 we will celebrate the completion of the first leg with refreshments.

The theme for this year’s Day of Reflection is Contemplating the Face of Christ through Mary. Join us as we take a break from the business of the Advent season. Throughout the day you will have an opportunity for Confession, Adoration, personal reflection time, and Mass. Cost is $20 and includes lunch.

The Re-Ignite Retreat invites all veteran parish evangelists (2+ years) to slow down, rest, and sit at the Master’s feet. During this two-day retreat, you will have the opportunity to encounter Jesus in His word and sacrament, receive spiritual direction, grow in fellowship, and be re-ignited in faith and fervor to return to the mission field. Don’t miss out!

These quarterly regional gatherings offer all parish evangelists an opportunity to share life and prayer, and discuss and prepare for what’s ahead with Beacons of Light, so that you can seize this planning process as an opportunity for discipleship and renewal in your parish.

Join us on Thursday, September 2nd at Do Good Restaurant in Osgood as we break open the Pre-Proclamation Stage in the Process of Evangelization. Lunch is optional and will be provided by Do Good. The first Missio is FREE, and $10 for each of the following.
