The purpose of the Parish Formation Team is to accompany parish staff and volunteer leaders, help them prayerfully discern Jesus’ unique plan for renewal in their parishes, and then empower them to respond to that call.
We come with no pre-packaged programs or one-size-fits-all plans for parish renewal. Every parish has its own unique strengths and challenges, which means that the plan for renewal and evangelization will be different for each one.
We believe that when pastors and parish leaders make evangelization and discipleship a priority – when they live in their identity as missionary disciples – then they can be a powerful source of renewal in their parish.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Here are just some of the ways that we can help your parish staff and key volunteer leaders:
Consultation
We can be a sounding board as you wrestle with a problem in your parish, and we can help you brainstorm solutions.
Half-Day, Full-Day, or Multiple-Day Retreats
Retreats are a great way for a parish staff or team of parish leaders to:
- Build trust and team cohesion
- Spiritually refresh and renew themselves
- Take a deep-dive into a spiritual or theological topic
- Prayerfully discern how Jesus is calling them to renew their parish
We can lead a retreat on your parish campus, or we can organize a retreat off-campus.
Parish Leader Formation
We can provide formation, guidance, and resources for individual leaders or groups of leaders who are looking to fill in gaps in their knowledge or who are looking for ways to better fulfill the responsibilities of their ministry.
Mentorship
Let’s walk this journey together! When we get isolated and alone in ministry, that’s when we burn out. Our team members are available to accompany you as you fulfill your parish ministry. We can meet as often as you need. We’re here for you.
