This year our theme will be on the Marriage Catechumenate. The event will focus on the archdiocesan plan to assist parishes in implementing the guidelines of the Catechumenal Pathways for Married Life\, the 2022 Vatican document on the marriage catechumenate. Presentations will be offered by archdiocesan staff from the Marriage & Family Evangelization team and local pastors\, plus there will be break-out sessions and time for brainstorming creative ways to implement the marriage catechumenate in parish life. Cuando un hombre y una mujer se unen por medio de un verdadero amor\, el uno toma el destino y futuro del otro como si fuese suyo. DESCRIPTION:National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) 2023: Fully Alive\nNCYC is a powerfully unique three-day experience of prayer\, community\, evangelization\, catechesis\, service\, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (of high school age) and their adult chaperones. For more information on NCYC please go to their website at https://ncyc.us/. \nTotal cost for NCYC is $500. Deposit to reserve tickets is $100 per ticket. We have a limited quantity of tickets available. Tickets will be sold on a first-come\, first-served basis and are non-refundable. After you have placed a deposit on tickets\, your parish will be invoiced for the remaining cost of the tickets. \nEach parish must have at least two adults attend per 10 students.  \nIncluded with your ticket: \n\nEntry into the National Catholic Youth Conference\n3 night stay at the Westin Indianapolis (walking distance to the conference center)\nScarf with AoC & NCYC logo and branding\nBoxed dinner at arrival on Thursday\nNote: the Archdiocese is not providing transportation to or from Indianapolis\n\nImportant Upcoming Dates for NCYC Leaders \n\nMonthly Zoom calls will be the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m.\, starting Thursday\, April 13th . Mason\, OH 45040Cost: $30 per family \nCo-hosted by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and St. Susanna parish\, this workshop is geared toward fathers and their sons (ages 12-14) to spend time together learning about God’s amazing plan for the gift of fertility. Starting with Holy Mass at 8:00 am\, this workshop will include presentations on puberty by highlighting authentic masculinity\, the biology of the reproductive system\, and the development of a baby in utero. Resources will be provided to help dads speak with their sons about the conjugal act\, a topic that will not be covered at this event. Featured speakers include Jason Mattingly M.D.\, Fr. Jonathan Jergens\, and Paco Patag. Coffee and a light lunch will be provided. The cost is $30 per family.
