SUMMARY:Living Your Strengths: Building Stronger Teams with CliftonStrengths
DESCRIPTION:Parish Families are invited to join us at this workshop as we take a deep dive into our strengths. Discovering our talents helps us contribute positively as leaders. Our teams are stronger when we form complementary partnerships\, building on the talents of members and engaging more people in ministry as a result. \nThe CliftonStrengths talent-identification tool has been used by thousands of Catholic parishes throughout North America to help staff and parishioners discover\, develop\, and become better stewards of their talents\, not only in their parishes but in all aspects of their lives. The process strengthens the ways in which people thrive at home\, in their parish\, and in ministry and service in their local communities. \nThis workshop will be led by Leisa Anslinger\, founder of Catholic Life and Faith\, a center for evangelization\, stewardship\, and servant leadership development. Most recently\, she served as the Archdiocese’s Associate Director for Pastoral Vitality. Leisa brings extensive experience in parishes and schools to her ministry as an author and speaker\, and is a frequent presenter at national and diocesan CliftonStrengths workshops. \nNOTE: Participants will receive a code to complete the CliftonStrengths online Tool and should complete the assessment and bring the results to the Workshop.  \nRegistration is now closed

SUMMARY:Marriage and Family Formation Course for Leaders
DESCRIPTION:The Marriage and Family Evangelization team will offer a free formation course over five sessions to equip leaders to accompany and evangelize engaged couples through the marriage catechumenate and into their married life. Topics include St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body as it relates to the sacrament of marriage\, canon law issues in marriage preparation\, sexual morality in marriage\, and an introduction to Natural Family Planning. A certificate will be given at the completion of the course. Interested couples must have the written recommendation by their pastor to enroll in the course. This course will be held both in-person at St. Ignatius Loyola in Cincinnati as well as virtually. Please note\, babysitting will not be available. \nClass Dates: Sept. 6 & 20\, Oct. 4 & 18\, and Nov. 15. \nMarriage and Family Leaders’ Statement of Good Standing: Parish leaders witness by their lives to the truth and goodness of the Church’s teachings on marriage and family\, and must be in good standing in their parish. If parish leaders are married\, their marriage should be blessed by Christ\, i.e. they should be sacramentally married. Those who are single (never married) or separated from their spouse and living a chaste life may attend the course with the recommendation of their parish priest\, who will vouch for the individual’s good standing in the parish. All individuals who are in an irregular marriage situation may contact Adriana Vasquez at 513-263-6648 for guidance on whether or not it is the right time to become a parish marriage and family leader. \nSee Flyer Here\n\n\n \n \n \n \n Are you registering as:(Required)Please select...IndividualCoupleAttendee name(Required)Attendee name(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)Your parish(Required)Current marriage and family life work (select one of the following):(Required)\n \n \n Wedding coordinator at the parish\n \n \n \n Volunteer marriage prep or marriage enrichment mentor couple\n \n \n \n Natural Family Planning instructor\n \n \n \n Deacon and Wife\n \n \n \n Other\n How will you be attending?(Required)Please select...In person at St. IgnatiusVirtuallyInfo of Priest Who Will Send Your Recommendation LetterPriest's Name(Required)Priest's Email\n \n Priest's Phone\n Submit
