This engaging, age-appropriate experience is designed for parents and daughters to learn together what’s really happening in her body as she approaches her first menstrual cycle.\nDuring this 90-minute interactive workshop, families will explore:\n\n\nFemale anatomy\n\n\nHormones through the “Story of the Kingdom” illustration\n\n\nOvulation and cycle timing\n\n\nPeriod products and what to expect\n\n\nNormal cycle variations\n\n\nHow to build a supportive “Culture of Care” at home\n\n\nThe workshop equips both girls and parents with clear science, shared language, and practical tools to talk about puberty with truth, dignity, and calm—helping the conversation continue long after the event.\nGirls will leave with:\n\n\nA custom period-product kit\n\n\nA workbook and discussion guide for continued learning\n\n\nParents will receive:\n\n\nGuides for talking with your daughter’s doctor\n\n\nResources to support ongoing conversations\n\n\nAdditional tools for navigating puberty with confidence\n\n\nFor girls aged 9-11\nOnly one ticket per a family is needed.\nSchedule:\nSign-in & Refreshments: 8:30am – 9:00am\nWorkshop: 9:00am -11:15am\n
